Mahatma Phule Samaj Seva Mandal is a non - profit organisation founded in Karmala(Solapur) Maharashtra(India). MPSSM is working on various topics all over Maharashtra. A small effort is being made by the organization to provide emergency assistance in the epidemic of a corona disease.

A long-term lockdown is underway across the country to break the chain of transmission of Covid-19. As a result, small and big industries, jobs and transactions are closed. The blow is falling on all sections of the society. However, the worst victims are the community's daily laborers, migrant workers, marginal farmers , agricultural laborers, poor families in slums, the elderly and those in need of overnight shelter.

By the end of April 2020, DRY GROCERY KIT and fruits were provided to 6413 needy families in rural and urban areas of Solapur, Pune, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg districts.

Also 3000 PPE kits have been provided to people working in medical and paramedical services in Pune and Mumbai suburbs by providing health services during this period.

At the same time, the police and municipal administration, various social organizations, gram panchayats, village disaster management committees, Shivbhojan undertakings for the ancillary work of covid-19 Rs. More than Rs. 1,50,000 / - has been provided in the form of financial assistance.
