Women Empowerment program is categorised under - Economic, Social and Hygiene, where we cover 10 villages from Karmala block in Solapur.

Objective and Project Description -

• There are a total 11 blocks in Dist.- Solapur. Karmala is one of them. In Karmala there are 118 villages and 105 Gram-Panchayats.
• For this project, we have identified a total of 10 villages.
• In those villages there are problems like child-marriage, dowry, women abuse, and personal hygiene (mainly for teenagers).

Target Group:

Economic empowerment:
Goat distribution (Donate Goat to each woman):

• 10 women from each village (Total – 100 women).
• Trying to make them independent.
• Total population cover around 600 (including approx. 5 family members).

Social Empowerment:
Social Awareness Program:

• Around 5000 women from 10 villages (500 women per village).
• Social awareness on topics such as dowry, abuse of women, child-marriage, etc.

Hygiene Empowerment:
Hygiene Awareness Program:

• 10 women from each village (Total – 100 women).
• Personal hygiene of teenagers (awareness regarding menstruation cycle and hygiene).
